I think Joseph Kennedy and Ralph Nader's parents were on to something, but needed "more heart".
Today, what's a "church"? Most are a subsidiary of government between their tax-exempt status that they have to alter their message to keep, and FEMA that's been involved for around 20 years, maybe longer.
One of my favorite episodes of "The Boondocks" tv series (VERY hit-and-miss, but when it "hit", it was out of the ballpark) was the tribute to MLK Jr. It suggested that if MLK came back, they'd have to shoot him all over again.
As I recall, the push for women in the workplace and out of the home goes back to the "women's suffrage movement" of the 1910s, bankrolled by the usual suspects, accompanied and promoted over the years by squeezing the middle class.
LBJ was more "kicking Dad out of the home", part of the destruction of the black family unit/communities.
