Separate But Equal Curfews
Until it comes out, it remains to be seen just what the upcoming series from huge media conglomerate Paramount will turn into. I'm betting on some form of "Predictive Programming", planting ideas, and the like.
Curfew's announced premise is that in the near future, men, but not women, will live under a strict curfew. For the good of the women, or as I like to quip, “For the good of the Volk”. But what of the Woke mentality, that one can change genders merely by "identifying", or by surgical and/or chemical mutilation?
The society in which Curfew is set has reached a somewhat absurd consensus or pretext (we'll have to wait for the series to see which it is): That men but not women are the primary predators. While it doesn't get nearly the publicity, because this doesn't fit The Agenda, how many crimes are stopped or prevented because there was a courageous man in the vicinity? How many crimes never happen because there are men in the area?
What sort of police force would exist in the dystopian society of Curfew? All female during the curfew hours? Does that include those men who "identify" as being female, or who self-mutilated? Would women who identify as men have to stay home and wear monitoring devices?
There's usually been some message, an element of programming or indoctrination, in plays, television, movies, and other performances. That's not necessarily bad where a society exists where ideas can be freely discussed and debated. Without themes and ideas, they’d be pretty boring. The heaviness and over-the-top nature of much modern performances, combined with the erasure and discouragement of free and open discussion, take much of the fun out of “entertainment”, except as a study in the evolution of propaganda techniques.

Starring Sarah Parish, Doctor Who’s Mandip Gill, Mitchell Robertson and singer Alexandra Burke, Curfew is set in a society where all men live under ‘The Women’s Safety Act’, meaning they are bound by a strict curfew from 7PM to 7AM every night, with their movements tracked by an ankle tag 24 hours a day.

Producer Nathalie Peter-Contesse called Curfew a “provocative and thrilling show that aims to contribute to the important conversation around violence against women.”
[That paragraph should give one pause. Science Fiction is a great way of exploring issues. It's sadly become a means of shoving various Agendas down the throats of the audience].
