On my list of things to write about is Google Classroom, or what I sometimes call "Television On Steroids". No real interaction, beaming programming into the minds of young people. "Lowest Common Denominator" is promoted. An incredible amount of time is spent by students learning the mechanics of Google Classroom. A lot of it, especially at the elementary school level where minds should be sharpened, are instead "lessons" inserted into video games. And more, that's just a "sneak preview".
I totally agree! Cable TV has taught people not to think. Reading expands the mind and opens doors to ideas and creativity.
