Wednesday Morning, November 13th, I had a Medical Event. It wasn't any singular thing, but rather that a “tipping point” had been reached. Was it a bug (I'll save the Virus vs. Terrain discussion for another time), organ malfunction, something else?
I haven't ID'd a specific culprit, nor do I think there really is one. Instead, for financial reasons, I had cut back on important components of my preventive protocols. It was a gamble that, hopefully, I had built myself up enough that I could go awhile with reduced or temporarily-eliminated supplements. It's not an exact science, and I don't have expertise with crystal balls or Ouija Boards. Cuts had to be mad, and I made my best-calculated guesses. Maybe if I had set different priorities you wouldn't be reading this—in other words, perhaps the least-bad options were the best ones under the circumstances.
A combination of imbalances, deficiencies, weaknesses, came into play. “Something” changed, came into play, which I think would have never occurred had I been on my full protocols. Normally, it either would have never happened or its' effect(s) would have been a minor blip. In event something(s) went horribly wrong, and the body's intuitive innate healing abilities snapped immediately into action. No endless hours Googling symptoms, checking out reliable health websites, and so on. It was Hell, but I got through it. So far anyhow. Plenty of rest over the weekend after working Wednesday – Friday. Today has been the best day yet.
In time I'll provide a more detailed report. Not that my unique situation is likely to be useful but to a very rare few. Rather, the focus will be providing a framework whatever happens. If it hits the fan, how does one find their way out? As we learned over the past 4 years, going to an MD can have deadly consequences. There's a reason the AMA has, almost from its creation, been called the American Murder Association. Listening to your body. Don't throw everything at one particular symptom because that symptom likely has multiple underlying causes. Consider how symptoms might—and just as importantly might not—be connected. With health, unlike so much much of poly-ticks, there *are* sometimes coincidences. Prioritize. Do the best you can with what you have.
Fortunately my first real paycheck from The Current Day Job arrives this week, so I'm getting all of the protocols back at their previous levels. Nice that Black Friday is on the 29th/Cyber Monday on December 2nd so I can get ahead.
I'll ease my way back into getting my Substack back on schedule, the usual minimum daily quotes/memes, eBooks on the day they're available. With additional Posts thrown in as new series are announced and events inspire and/or outrage.
FYI I take a whole food zinc everyday. no matter what else I skip, I've not had a really sick day since I started taking them, when I feel a little puny I take 3 Zicam tabs and then 3 more in about 4 hours, fixes me right back up to my energizer bunny self.
Feel better now! 🤗
I’m starting dialysis soon. It might be temporary, hopefully.
