I was reading the FB Comments on a hitpiece about Elon Musk. One of the Comments was that The Intercept fired the only person there worth reading, its co-founder Glenn Greenwald.
Agreed.
Shortly after that Comment was Posted, it vanished.
Was it stricken by FB? Probably not, there was nothing in the wording to trigger a censorbot.
By The Intercept? Most likely.
Does it really matter when FB and The Intercept are on the same team?
Yes, because some remember when The Intercept still had redeeming social value (for better or worse, a "standard" later rejected), and might have missed the transition.
