If Tuck Gives A Yuck,
he will come to Substack, one of the last bastions of freedom of thought and speech. No censors, no advertisers buying souls. Millions of people would be happy to pay five bucks a month, some even more. Carlson would be able to provide constant quality, eliminating any need for filler. He would no longer have to self-censor. At the same time, he would be helping other writers and Substack with a stronger and more financially independent platform.
Let’s do some simple math: Were Carlson to charge five bucks per month for premium content/those supporting his mission as a matter of principle, he would only need 1.25 million supporters. That’s based on writers netting roughly 80% of the amounts paid after Substack’s cut and the credit/debit card processing fees that Substack has to pay. It’s a great deal for all that Substack provides, and it’s an investment in building a solid future for Substack and the writers.
In the event Tucker Carlson goes from gatekeeper Faux and just joins another gatekeeper like Newsmax or One America News (OAN), then it’s “Resold!”, like soiled underwear at a garage sale, removing all doubt as to where he really stands.
