Absolutely. Members of my family were mind controlled by the military - Air Force in particular & were never the same again. I lost a healthy father, a husband & my children lost their father, he was turned into an exemplary soldier & we lost him he was never the same after boot camp. If people knew what really happens they would not be saying ooh-rah, ooh-rah like mind controlled idiots.

Back in the 1970s, there was a "Reverend" Ted Patrick, who thought his mission was to "Deprogram" members of the Unification Church, a/k/a "Moonies". Which I think was part of MK-ULTRA and all the rest. I studied the issues, discussions, arguments, and so on, at the time.

Without writing a long essay (I probably will sometime, just not today), that raised all sorts of questions that have broader application.

-Did the ends justify the means?

-What has been accomplished by replacing one set of brainwashing with another?

(And this can be expanded to AA, NA, etc)

--Who decides what "truth" is the true one?

An oversimplification, but I think Tony Robbins is on the right track when he talks about "Breaking The Pattern" of programming.

Tony is the eternal optimist; I am not. "Breaking The Pattern" doesn't always work, and we have to accept that we are going to lose some. Perhaps many. Perhaps one of our purposes here is to save some, to "free" some, and to paraphrase Marx, give them the tools to revolve about their own true sun.

I'll close on an optimistic note: Mind Control isn't permanent. That's why Sirhan is still imprisoned 56 years later. There are ways to unlock doors, and those who programmed Sirhan well know that.
