The problem is, "who decides". Who will the censors be? As has been said many times in many ways, in the marketplace of ideas, the truth will eventually come out. But not when you have Zuckerberg, Twitter (even with Musk), Stanford, CBS/NBC/ABC etc etc, deciding what speech is permitted. Or, for that matter, Joel Osteen, Franklin Graham, Das Pope, etc.
It's unclear how much damage Bolton was able to inflict. Certainly Pompeo did a lot, and it's difficult to see how any benefits exceeded the harm of having that swamp rat in such a powerful position.

I'm still choking on why Trump ever let John Bolton step foot into the White House, let alone Appoint him to a high post.
