From Jonathan's email:
The first expert we hear from is Robert Scott Bell, a seasoned homeopath and host of the Robert Scott Bell Show, who emphasizes the importance of addressing the root causes of disease.
According to him, symptoms merely scratch the surface of deeper issues, such as dysbiosis in the microbiome…
Aggravated by chemicals like antibiotics, additives, and pesticides.
These elements disrupt the gut-brain axis, hindering neurological health and nutrient absorption crucial for cellular function and overall well-being.
He says:
“We learned so much about the microbiome now and its impact on the production of neurotransmitters and endocrine compounds as well. And there's a gut-brain axis, if you will, and a lot of the neurological issues, we see emotional issues, even depressive disorders seem to impact on the gut. In other words, the primary source when we talk about the root causes, we can certainly acknowledge that there are heavy metals that could impact the brain directly, but those heavy metals impact the microbiome and the home for the microbiome because they inflame and damage tissue everywhere. And the focus on replenishing with pre and probiotics is one thing, but if you don't have a healthy home for the microbiome if you have these inflammatory cascades that are chronic and never-resolving, you'll never get the flora back in to retain that balanced and biodiverse fashion, which is what makes it all work.”

Following that we hear from Dr. David Jockers, an expert in natural health and nutrition, who will share his personal journey of overcoming excruciating gut problems and rediscovering his health through the power of his diet and intermittent fasting:
“I struggled with irritable bowel syndrome in my early 20s, and this is actually where I discovered intermittent fasting. Now, the first thing I did when I had irritable bowel, and it was really bad, I actually went from about 170 pounds, which is what I weigh now, down to about 135 pounds. So I lost about 35 pounds and I was lean. So I lost a lot of muscle mass and I was a personal trainer.
I thought I had to eat six meals a day, a super high-calorie load in order to maintain my weight. And that's when I started developing irritable bowel, had intense cramping, constipation, and diarrhea, and I had significant problems and I couldn't absorb nutrients. I had damaged that gut lining.”

Following that, we’re joined by my personal family doctor, Dr. Daniel Nuzum. He brings a fresh perspective on the profound connection between our gut and brain.
His career has been dedicated to uncovering how the vast network of neurons in our gut influences not only our digestion but also our emotions and mental health.
“Talk about the gut-brain connection and what that's all about. Let's talk about some of the mechanics of that. First off, your brain has about 100 billion neurons in it. That's with a B, 100 billion neurons, that's a lot of neurons. Your gut has 200 billion neurons, double the amount of neurons. There's more nervous tissue in your gut than there is in your head. How does that work? How does that affect you? Your gut is where your intuition is. People literally have gut feelings, or they'll have a pit in their stomach, or they're just upset sick, or maybe they "I just didn't have a good feeling about X." And all of that is that nervous tissue in your gut trying to communicate to you, because there's twice as much nervous tissue in your gut than there is in your brain.”

Next up, we have Dr. Tom Lewis, who has spent many years studying how vitamins and gut health can affect our overall health. His knowledge is especially helpful for anyone dealing with long-term health conditions.
Dr. Lewis talks about my Well Of Life supplement line. He says:
“The Well of Life supplements, their supplement line completely focuses on the foundation of health. You've heard the expression, “You are what you eat,” that's actually a false narrative. You are what you absorb. I do extensive survey work with people I work with and lab work, and people think the number one complaint is a lack of energy chronic pain, and sleeplessness.
But the real number one complaint when I look at what they're really telling me and when we chat with them is some level of gut dysbiosis, and that drives all these other things.”
When we have a healthy and fully functioning gut, our immune system works at its peak performance.
No disease or toxin will ever take hold if our gut is healthy.
