Biden, Newsom, Tomayto, Tomahto
David Talbot has an article on Klaus Schwab's little rodent in Sacramento, Gavin Newsom, and what a Newsom-Kennedy race might look like.
I like Talbot, and think he does good work. He struggles with being an old-school “Democrat” coming from a sincere place, wondering how much of what has been unveiled since November 22, 1963, has been the hijacking of those good intentions with lies and malevolence. So I was gentle in my response, not raising questions like, "Does Newsom even have a soul since he sold his long ago?". It's a good article, worth a few minutes of your time.
To get to my quip/Comment:
Newsom, Biden, both empty vassels controlled by those far higher up. An empty shell is an empty shell, "body double" works for the terminology.
And Talbot, to his credit, touches upon that aspect in his article:
"But Gavin Newsom is not his own man. He’s the creation of others, who are much more wealthy, much more powerful than him. Yes, he’s a rising star — but in someone else’s galaxy."
And this:
"It's true — there is something Kennedyesque about Gavin Newsom. But I fear it’s mostly cosmetic. Unlike President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was seen as a traitor to his class, Newsom has never betrayed his super-wealthy benefactors."
