Thank you! I go through and discard quite a few just to get to the relatively few gems that stand out. There are times when I will go through a long list of quotations, and find none that are worth sending out, either as a unique perspective or a thoughtful rearticulation. That happened with Margaret Thatcher recently. Thatcher was popular in some circles, was a great orator, but I alternated between cringing and yawning when wading through some of her remarks. I'll try that again sometime, perhaps using different sources.
